Where I Teach
Skateboard Lessons at North Sydney Skate Plaza
North Sydney Skate Plaza in Cammeray is, along with Sydney Park in Newtown, where most of my lessons happen. Everything you need to know before your first lesson there is below.

Getting there
The plaza is on Ernest Street in Cammeray, next to the Cammeray Golf Club. There is a small amount of parking on Ernest Street. By bus, get off at the Big Bear shopping centre on Military Road and it is a short walk.
The skatepark
This is a street-style plaza with banks, ledges, rails and a quarter ramp, and a smooth, even surface since the council resurfaced it in 2020. It suits every level, from a first roll to technical street skating. There are no lights, so skating finishes when it gets dark.

Lessons at North Sydney
I teach every level here, complete beginners included. Weekday mornings are the quietest time at the plaza; after school and at weekends it is busier.
Lessons run seven days a week, from 10am to 6pm. You can book a private one-to-one lesson, a semi-private lesson for two skaters, or a small group of up to five. I bring a board if you do not have one yet, and every student wears a helmet. Prices are on the pricing page, and you can book through the contact form.
